Is BOTOX Cosmetic only for women?
Both men and women undergo regular BOTOX Cosmetic treatments. They are proven to help improve facial lines for everyone and have undergone years of medical study and trials, in addition to over 15 years of real-world application. We’ve found that more and more men are coming in to get BOTOX Cosmetic treatments every year.

Will BOTOX Cosmetic paralyze my face?
Properly administered, BOTOX Cosmetic can result in a naturally refreshed look, not the cliché frozen face that you might see in tabloids or on TV. The inability to move the eyebrows or other areas of the face only occurs when too much of the treatment has been administered. At Facial Aesthetic Concepts, we do a careful facial analysis to ensure that we only use the amount of BOTOX Cosmetic.

What are the potential side effects?
Almost everyone who has a BOTOX treatment experience no side effects. But it’s good to be on the lookout for any of these conditions and contact us if they persist or get worse:

  • Pain, swelling, or bruising at the treatment site
  • Droopy eyelids
  • Uneven eyebrows
  • Vision issues
  • Trouble swallowing

How much can I expect the treatment to cost?
Most BOTOX Cosmetic treatments range between $200 to $600. We customize every treatment to you and your goals, which means that the units used vary from client to client. We don’t believe in ‘one size fits all’ cosmetic treatments.

Do you do anything to numb the face before BOTOX Cosmetic treatments?
We can use ice to numb the injection site or even apply a topical numbing agent if that will help you to feel most at ease. Your comfort and safety are our priority.

What kind of results can I expect and how long will they last?
BOTOX Cosmetic help to reduce facial fine lines such as frown lines, crow’s feet, and forehead wrinkles. Most people find that the results from a treatment last about 4 months before a follow up treatment is necessary to achieve smoother skin again. The effect is subtle and does not leave your face looking unnaturally smooth or change its shape.

How frequently do I need to get BOTOX Cosmetic treatments?
Most of our patients schedule their BOTOX Cosmetic treatments every 3 to 4 months to ensure the results remain looking fresh. For some people, results may last longer after they have gone through several rounds of treatments.
